Principal Mechanician

Job Description The Mechanical Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the development and sustenance of new products as well as existing ones. This engineer acts as a technical liaison between internal groups, including marketing, product management, application engineering, customer technical support, and manufacturing. The individual will provide daily technical support to engineering teams by focusing on 3D Modeling, systems-entry, and other mechanical-related tasks. Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical devices or structures from concept to fully functional design across various project stages Create 3D models, assemblies, technical drawings, and documentation Support prototype testing activities Develop, review, and enter new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature Understand the product's features and suggest improvements back to the team Minimum 2 years of experience in product development engineering Experience with sheet metal design and manufacture Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety, and test methods Able to follow testing and instructional procedures Proficient in CAD software, CREO Parametric preferred Familiarity with Model Based Definition (MDB) preferred Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve a wide range of problems quickly and logically Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills Able to multitask and work effectively in global development teams Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Fluent English proficiency (90% or higher) Basic electrical and thermal knowledge a plus ,
