Supplier Quality Engineer

Your Job:We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support our automotive business units by ensuring supplier quality compliance and performance. This role will lead supplier development, manage PPAPs and scorecards, and drive continuous improvement through audits and corrective actions.Our Team:You’ll be part of the TIS division at Molex Guadalajara, working closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance. Our team is committed to excellence in supplier performance and product safety.What You Will Do:Manage supplier performance and scorecards Lead resolution of quality notifications and MRB activities Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements Oversee supplier PPAPs, revalidations, and quality audits Support supplier selection, development, and management Achieve KPIs and support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean initiatives Fulfill control plan responsibilities and perform other assigned duties Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree 2–3 years of experience in a similar position Fluent English Experience in automotive industry Knowledge of IATF 16949 and CSR requirements Supplier scorecard monitoring and PPAP execution Experience with 8D, MRB, and supplier audits Drawing interpretation and electronics commodity knowledge Strong negotiation, proactivity, and responsibility What Will Put You Ahead:Master’s degree 4+ years in automotive supplier quality IATF 16949 internal or lead auditor certification VDA and Core Tools knowledge IPC 610 training Experience as product safety and conformity representative Who We Are:As a Koch company, Molex is a globally recognized provider of electronic solutions, enabling innovation in industries ranging from automotive to healthcare.
