Associate Production Supervisor

Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Associate Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus._- Reporting to the Operations Manager, Associate Production Supervisor role involves_ _being in charge of directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals._What a typical day looks like:- _ Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the lines success._- _ Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality._- _ Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements._- _ Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability._- _ Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals._- _ Provides technical and operational advice to project teams._- _ May act as principal interface between the operations team and the maintenance function._- _ Engage in training and coaching of junior operators._- _ Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements._- _ Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects._- _ Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses._- _ Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures._- _ Ensures compliance of standards._The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _BA/BS or equivalent work experience._- _Experience as Production Supervisor_- _Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment._- _Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability)._- _Knowledge in SMT & integration fabrication processes_- _Experience in the use of Floor shop systems._- _Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End)._- _Experience in BAAN system is a plus._- _Ability to read, analyze and interpret MPI._- _ Flexible working hours_- _ Basic/intermediate English is a plus!_What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.IS81Job CategoryOperations**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
