Job Summary: The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse layout, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods. Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and support full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly. Ensure all warehouse operations comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes to optimize space utilization and material flow. Maintain accurate documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, including customs paperwork and compliance documentation. Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Collaborate closely with production, quality control, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel performance, fostering a productive and safety-conscious team culture. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software to track inventory and generate reports. Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely shipments and deliveries. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse productivity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or technical diploma preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education. Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing/export environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and export compliance. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms. Good understanding of maquila industry standards, customs regulations, and documentation. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced manufacturing demands. Strong communication skills in English. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
