Electronics Procurement Lead

Purchasing Manager Manage and lead the procurement team in an electronics manufacturing setting. Oversee day-to-day procurement activities, develop sourcing strategies, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production needs. Main Responsibilities: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of buyers to optimize performance and compliance with company policies. Monitor and manage the procurement of electronic components, raw materials according to production schedules and inventory requirements. Analyze data and plan purchasing activities to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Resolve supply chain issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and discrepancies in coordination with suppliers and internal departments. Develop and implement purchasing metrics, reporting tools, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency. Collaborate closely with production planning, engineering, quality, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives. Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and corporate policies. Provide regular updates on material risks, cost trends, and supplier performance. Requirements: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry. Proven supervisory or team lead experience with strong coaching and development skills. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and electronic components, BOMs, and vendor management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
