Your JobAs the Sourcing Manager for our Nogales plant, you will be the strategic and tactical procurement professional responsible for managing all direct categories—mechanicals, raw materials, and electronics—for Molex’s CCS division. You will partner with Plant Operations, Global Category Management, Business Unit leads, NPD Sourcing teams and suppliers across North America to drive cost savings, assure supply continuity, and build best-in-class supplier relationships.Our TeamYou’ll join the Consumer & Commercial Solutions (CCS) division’s Sourcing team, collaborating closely with Nogales Manufacturing, regional Procurement centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering, Quality, Finance and Legal. Together, we enable efficient production, continuous improvement, and successful new-product launches for our North America operations.What You Will DoServe as the single point of contact for strategic sourcing topics and supply-base issues across all categories at the Nogales plant Analyze spend data, lead RFQs, negotiate pricing and terms, and build a robust pipeline of savings opportunities using a variety of levers (negotiation, supplier changes, VA/VE) Drive assurance of supply by managing supplier performance, prioritizing escalations, and resolving production-critical issues with urgency Develop and nurture long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers in Mexico and the U.S., including contract negotiation and support of Global Category Management’s annual BRM plans Identify, qualify and onboard new outsourcing and raw-material suppliers (e.g., wire/cable, resins, injection molding, stamping, plating) to meet evolving cost, quality and delivery needs Collaborate with global and divisional category managers and internal partners to align sourcing strategies with engineering, operations and business-unit requirements Mentor sourcing team members, deploy principle-based management (PBM) practices and establish a robust succession plan for key roles Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related technical discipline 10+ years of professional experience in Procurement or Engineering, including category management for mechanical and/or electronic components Proven expertise in strategic sourcing processes, supplier relationship management and contract negotiation Native Spanish speaker with business-level English proficiency Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or technical master’s) 5+ years of experience in the connector, automotive or EMS industries Deep process and costing knowledge of stamping, plating, molding, assembly and raw-material procurement Established senior-level supplier network across the Americas SAP procurement module proficiency At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
