Executive Merchandise Coordinator

Purpose: To contribute to the successful execution of product strategy by ensuring timely and accurate buys, managing inventory, and providing effective communication and analysis. Responsibilities: Understand seasonal concepts, key investments, key ideas, key items, lifespans, and programs to execute product strategy for each season. Analyze product performance on a weekly basis using analytical skills. Procure buys for certain categories under the guidance of Buyers. Manage inventory tasks including issuing purchase orders correctly and on time, communicate with the planning team on pending purchase orders, and update product information in systems to provide full visibility on product flow. Track receipts and inform cross-functional teams of product delays. Regularly update systems or buying files to ensure correct information and visibility on product attributes such as lifespan, store groups, tickets, units, or ship modes to the buying, inventory planning, and planning teams. Communicate and deliver the product strategy to cross-functional teams to enable effective execution. Weekly sales performance action plan execution, coordinating promotions, revising daily product updates, revising ticket discrepancies, and communicating all above to correspondent cross-functional teams as needed. Closely work with Visual and Operations teams to ensure each floorset is executed according to plan. Provide necessary information to Operations Team for executing merchandising strategy in stores such as Floorset Product Placement Guides, Early Set Product Documents, Ticket Discrepancies Information, and Re-Ticket Actions, Seasonal Key Looks for Personal Appearance Standards for associates, and other related data. Visit Stores at least once a month with Buyers to obtain feedback on product performance and floorset execution.
