What You’ll Do The Logistic Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating control processes within the manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring optimal production schedules, inventory levels, and facilitating efficient workflow to meet production targets and customer demands through effective warehouse processes and cycle count strategies. Responsibilities include receiving materials, raw material storage, supply components, material pickup in production lines, shipping finished goods, and continuous improvement in these areas. Ensuring 100% raw material availability and on-time shipments, promoting effective communication with demand and production control teams, and following standards to optimize inventory levels, especially safety stock. Inventory Management Warehouse Management Material Routing (conveyance) Process Improvement Team Leadership Cross-department Collaboration Reporting and Analysis 100% Customer Deliveries Material Flow (timing control) Inventory Accuracy Delivery to internal and external customers Development of logistic tools to increase automation and reduce manual processes Develop and implement conveyance schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels Collaborate with FG Planning, RM Planning, and Operations to align production plans with business objectives Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to recommend improvements Ensure material flow in and out of the facility and warehouse Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts Ensure compliance with procedures and standards, including audits and 5S monitoring Participate in problem-solving analyses as needed Manage shortages or deviations in material deliveries Engage in continuous improvement programs for the warehouse Manage JDE and related warehouse systems Coordinate logistics processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers Participate in Operations and Staff forums to resolve systematic issues Manage inventory turnover through supervision and follow-up Provide resources and remove obstacles to meet targets Apply APS principles in the work area What Is Required Bachelor’s degree Bilingual in Spanish and English Planning and scheduling skills Inventory management expertise Knowledge of continuous flow processes Warehouse management skills Experience with Service Parts Process Project Management skills Experience with JDE and Megatron systems Knowledge of L2L and Office applications Problem-solving skills Efficiency in warehouse operations Inventory control expertise Supply chain knowledge Experience with automated material handling equipment Control over delivery routes for materials and finished goods Proficiency in warehouse safety and compliance regulations What’s In It For You Attractive compensation package Recognition awards, company and family events, university discounts, and more Gender Pay Equality Autoliv is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
