Custom Cloud Applications Practice Head Client is a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business by harnessing the power of technology. The Opportunity The Practice Lead Cloud Custom Applications is a transformational leader who, through a strategic business vision, can grow the practice by delivering technology of the highest quality for our clients based in Aguascalientes state. Purpose of the Position As a Practice Lead C&CA at Client, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions for our clients. This leadership position demands a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and team management skills to drive the practice forward. Key Responsibilities: 1. Practice Leadership: a. Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Cloud and Traditional software development cycle of life services for global delivery center accounts b. Drive innovation and stay at the forefront of industry trends to ensure the practice's competitiveness. c. Manager portfolio and practice capabilities 2. Team Management: a. Lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals to ensure they deliver exceptional results. b. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the practice. c. Define and execute upskilling strategies 3. Client Engagement: a. Architect solutions that align with the specific needs and goals of each client, ensuring the delivery of customized and effective technology solutions. b. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth, particularly with large and renowned clients in the industry and participate in orals when needed c. Capable of managing a robust portfolio of clients concurrently (at least 10), overseeing projects that have a substantial impact on a significant number of users within an organization. (At least 500 per project) 4. Solution Development: Oversee the development of customized technology a. solutions, both in cloud and traditional languages. b. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions to clients. 5. Financial Performance: a. Take ownership of the practice's financial performance, managing budgets, revenue growth, and profit margins. b. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial success: Revenue, Costo, Margin, Utilization, Head Count, Bench. 6. Quality Assurance: a. Uphold the highest standards of service quality, compliance, and security within the practice. b. Implement best practices and quality assurance processes. 7. Collaboration: a. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and service lines within Client to leverage synergies and broaden service offerings 8. Technical Expertise: a. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cloud services and solutions offered by at least two out of the three major hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). b. Provide strategic guidance on cloud SW architecture, design, and implementation, tailoring solutions to meet client needs. c. Lead cloud integration projects, ensuring seamless transitions from on-premises to cloud environments. d. Experience in Architecture, Migration and Implementation of complex solutions for customers. e. Strategic Accounts management across different industry segments (Financial Services, Consumer Product Goods, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Natural Resources). f. Solution Architecture that can be translated into added value proposals for clients. g. Framework and Methodology management experience. (for example: ITIL, PMP, SCRUM, among others). h. Extensive experience in operating different operating systems and managing various databases, ensuring seamless and efficient system operations. i. Proficiency in development with traditional and cloud-based programming languages. j. Familiarity with the application lifecycle in both traditional and cloud environments. 9. Talent Development and Management: a. Manage large groups of interdisciplinary experiences and skills. At least of 400 professionals b. Provide leadership and guidance in talent development within the practice. c. Foster a culture of learning, growth, and professional development within the team. d. Identify and nurture emerging talent, providing mentorship and opportunities for skill enhancement. e. Ensure that the practice maintains a dynamic, skilled, and adaptable workforce ready to meet the evolving needs of clients. f. Staff roles effectively to address the diverse needs of clients, matching the right talent to the right tasks and projects. Experience and Professional Qualifications a. Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. b. A master’s degree is a plus. c. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT industry with a strong background in infrastructure services. Skills and Competencies a. Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. b. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the capacity to develop and execute a clear business strategy aligned with the company's goals. c. Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts and strategies both internally and externally. d. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical, operational, and client-related challenges effectively. e. Team Management: Proficiency in team management, including mentorship and development, to nurture a high-performance team. f. Client Focus: A client-centric approach with a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to deliver excellent service. g. Adaptability: The capability to adapt to changing market conditions, emerging technologies, and evolving client requirements. Competences: a. Traditional and Cloud applications development Expertise: Comprehensive, with experience in designing, implementing, and managing these solutions. b. Project Management: Skill in project management to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. c. Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage and build strong client relationships, delivering value and exceeding client expectations. d. Global Perspective: Experience working in a global context and the ability to leverage best practices from a global network to inform local strategies. e. Innovation: A history of driving innovation in applications services to meet evolving client and industry needs. f. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the IT and delivery centers.
