Position Objective To manage and oversee all foreign trade activities, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations for import and export processes. This role focuses on optimizing international logistics and supporting general purchasing operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities Foreign Trade Management Coordinate import and export operations for goods and services. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade agreements, and legal requirements. Manage and process documentation, including customs declarations, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and other related paperwork. Build and maintain strong relationships with customs brokers, transportation providers, and government agencies. Monitor and stay updated on changes in international trade laws and regulations that may impact operations. International Logistics Coordination Plan and manage international transportation modes (air, sea, and land). Optimize shipping routes and delivery schedules to reduce logistics costs while maintaining efficiency. Track shipments, address transit issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Oversee inventory in transit and ensure proper receipt and handling of incoming goods. General Purchasing Support Assist in managing domestic and international purchasing activities. Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable commercial terms. Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and requirements. Ensure timely receipt and quality assurance of purchased goods and services. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years in a similar role. Knowledge of customs regulations, international treaties, and trade compliance. Proficiency in Incoterms, tariff classification, and import/export procedures. Experience with ERP systems and foreign trade platforms. Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Willingness to work in Apodaca Skills and Competencies Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Problem-solving and critical thinking. Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization. Accountability and a results-driven approach.
