Position Summary The Marketing Manager, Europe (based in Mexico) will use knowledge of the brand, buying process, products, pricing and customers/channels to develop and execute strategies to grow sales and build brand equity throughout Europe, MENA and beyond. The role is responsible for leading all marketing objectives throughout Europe, including branding and new product commercialization, and will work closely with other stakeholders on the international team (sales, product management, etc.). This person will coordinate new product rollouts, product education and promotional activity that align to Oatey Company strategic objectives. Additionally, coordinates efforts with the European sales team to ensure proper communication, training, and execution of marketing efforts. Position Responsibilities Develop and execute quarterly and annual marketing and demand generation strategy and tactics in collaboration with Sales team. Support new product launch efforts in channel including collateral, communication strategy, training tools and related activities. Work closely with Sales Team to support ongoing priorities, including product presentations, trade shows, research and competitive intelligence. Responsible to collaborate with Corporate for all NPD details to include planning, budgeting, scheduling, safety, and quality. Organize field trips for product evaluation and customer feedback and take appropriate actions based on information gathered. This includes organize and participating in trade shows to evaluate the market and generate ideas. Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities, and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales NPD planning purposes. Provide technical and logistic support for all departments to include product changes, problem solving, and proper documentation. Directly respond to customers on technical issues and needs for training. Develop and implement plans and strategies to evaluate competitor products and new ideas. This position provides tools and support with branding strategies to grow the market share of Solvent Cements and introduction of all of the other categories and brands of Oatey portfolio. Supports Digital & Brand marketing initiatives cross-functionally to ensure best in class product content, attributes, application in all digital and print collateral, always aligned to Oatey Company guidelines. Analyzes sales report to monitor top and bottom-line sales performance. Jump starts underperforming products to expand visibility and opportunities for over performing products. Develops, presents, and recommends competitive opportunities for each customer’s market niche. Manage relationships with outside marketing and training partners to position Oatey Brand portfolio. Knowledge and Experience English Language Skills (Written – Spoken – Read) - advanced ERP Processes environment experience such as SAP would be ideal. European Marketing experience preferred Plumbing, Construction and Building Market Experience (Preferred). Leadership Skills. Up to 30% of the time is dedicated to International Travel. Education and Certification Bachelor’s Degree in any Marketing related field.
