Advanced Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to lead the execution of payroll processing for our clients. The ideal candidate will have advanced English language skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. About the Role: Lead the execution of payroll processing for Exact Sciences Companies. Collaborate with business partners to understand payroll reporting needs and provide reporting solutions. Able to complete complex report reconciliation across numerous sources and identify reconciliation errors. Triage payroll questions and processing errors to quickly and appropriately solve problems and come to a resolution. Identifies payroll system issues and communicates solutions to appropriate stakeholders. Cross-train with the Payroll team members to ensure back-up support for all payroll processes. Liaise with Human Resources regarding timely benefit enrollments, associated payroll deductions, leaves of absence, and associated pro-rated pay calculations. Assist with company-wide payroll-related communications. Key Responsibilities: State and Local withholding tax registrations and maintaining good standing with various taxing agencies. Year-end payroll processes. Maintaining working knowledge of multi-state payroll laws, benefit programs (i.e. FSA, HSA, etc.), and the Company's Employee Handbook. Participating in internal and external audit requests. Other payroll-related responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Evaluate routing and high priority tasks to delegate to team members. Communicate clear and concise messages to internal and external audiences. Make decisions independently considering multiple data points and sources of information.
