The Role We’re looking for a Local SEO Specialist to help manage and grow the online visibility of several law firm clients. This is a full-time (or near full-time) contract role for someone with hands-on experience in local SEO—especially Google Business Profiles (GBP), local content strategy, and on-site optimization. You’ll work directly with our Director of SEO and take ownership of day-to-day SEO tasks across multiple accounts. What You’ll Do Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) Perform local SEO audits and implement improvements Handle citation building and cleanup, NAP consistency, and local link building Develop and support content strategy, including topic ideation and keyword clustering Implement or guide on-site SEO (meta tags, headers, internal linking, etc.) Monitor and report on performance using GA4, GSC, and ranking tools Optional: light content editing or formatting for blogs and landing pages What We’re Looking For Proven local SEO experience (not just general SEO) Strong familiarity with GBP management and local ranking factors Confident using tools such as GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog Experience with content planning for local businesses or service-area pages Strong English language skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently Bonus: experience working with law firms or other professional services Job Details Remote Full-time or near full-time (30–40 hours/week) Contract-based Hourly rate based on experience and location (open to international candidates) Flexible schedule; async-friendly Long-term opportunity for the right person
