Role Description We are currently hiring a part-time Barista to join our on-site team at EMAUS Cafe in Tijuana, BCN. The role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and delivering an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include taking orders, operating the coffee machine, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The Barista will also engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any needs promptly. Qualifications Experience in preparing beverages, including operating coffee equipment and making espresso-based drinks. Interpersonal and communication skills to create an inviting and friendly customer experience. Attention to detail and ability to consistently follow recipes and maintain cleanliness standards. Time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately. Fluency in Spanish is required, and proficiency in English is a beneficial asset.
