LG ELECTRONICS Location: Mexicali, Baja California, MX Renowned global leader Company is currently Hiring: MANUFACTURING DIRECTOR This position directs the planning and scheduling, coaches, mentors and motivates Manufacturing Team Members. Ensures production schedules are met while maintaining high performance and quality standards. Directs and coordinates the activities of Manufacturing Department in processing materials and manufacturing products. Supports safety initiatives and compliance training. Key Role Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality and employee engagement Understand the key performance indicators that support continued business growth, manage and direct all production and quality activity to ensure a safe work environment responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement Achievement of daily, monthly and annual production targets Lead and develop a high performance team Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget Responsible for assembly products that meet or exceed profit goals Aligns production to forecast and reduces labor expense, forecasts, tracks and escalates as necessary Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment and establishes and monitors compliance activities to support the safety program Knowledge and Skills (general and technical) Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field Relevant experience(s) & duration: 7-10 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment Deep understanding of complex equipment production and systems integration, manufacturing methods and process improvement Intermediate to advanced computer skills MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
