The Role: The Operations Technician will ensure the process compliance, and established procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Regas Plant in La Paz, Mexico and ensure all equipment is in good working order and be proactive in organizing the effectiveness of the operations deliver program to ensure production goals are met. This role will require physical demands such as moving around, lifting hoses and auxiliary equipment, and standing for prolonged periods. What You Will Do: Operate, monitor, inspect, and control all parameters at the Regas Plant. Ensure proper control of all assets related to the regasification process and the receipt of Liquefied Natural Gas. Observe the transportation and storage of LNG and other flammable materials to ensure that all applicable safety procedures are followed. Monitor the regasification process and LNG receipt, ensuring correct function and verifying that the associated operational parameters are met. Detect quality issues in processes, procedures, and facilities, including LNG leaks, spills, process upsets, and any activities involving these conditions. Understand and execute environmental and safety procedures to ensure safe operations for all personnel and surroundings. Provide startup/shutdown support and assist in periodic simulated emergency stop drills to avoid equipment or process failures and ensure operational efficiency. Ensure process reliability and optimize resources to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize equipment downtime. What You Bring: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in LNG, cryogenic process plants, or similar facilities. Experience in gas processing distribution for utility companies or industrial plants, using panel boards, control boards, and semi-automatic equipment. Strong communication and technical language skills. Familiarity with control room environments and industrial control systems. Knowledge of HSSE management systems and the safe practices and procedures to be applied across all operational activities. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
