Chief Sustainability Strategist

About the Role We are seeking a Jr Sustainability Analyst to participate in monitoring and executing sustainability-related activities to achieve a more sustainable product portfolio and eco-efficient operations globally. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field, with proficient conversational English skills (C1). They should also have 1 year of experience in sustainability, industrial chemical processes, and/or product life cycle analysis, along with advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables). As a key member of our team, you will monitor environmental indicators using our management platform, generate departmental reports, standardize data collection methods, and prepare reports according to GRI standards. You will also update the decarbonization project portfolio with relevant departments, addressing GHGs, energy, water, and waste. In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage existing sustainability projects, quantify environmental benefits, maintain current management tools, organize workshops to identify new opportunities, and facilitate experience-sharing across industrial units. You will also support internal carbon pricing model implementation and climate change financial risk studies, contribute to action plans aligning GHG reduction goals with science-based targets, research competitors' and clients' best practices on GHGs, energy, water, and waste, and participate in identifying and selecting relevant start-ups and companies. You will provide data and support communication process for sustainability metrics to CDP, Sustainability Reports, TCFD, GRI, etc., and assist audits including Intelex, data reporting, emissions inventory, ISCC certification, and more. A basic-intermediate understanding of Portuguese is desirable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or similar. Proficient conversational English (C1) 1 year of experience in Sustainability, industrial chemical processes, and/or product life cycle analysis. Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables). Data-driven and autonomous. Availability to travel nationally and internationally (2-3 per year). Desirable Skills: Previous experience with Power BI and Tableau. Chemical industry experience.
