Purchasing Analyst Job Description ">As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in managing supplier data, purchase orders, and system accuracy across multiple enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. Your expertise in procurement systems and continuous improvement will support efficient operations and ensure supply continuity. Responsibilities include creating, updating, and maintaining purchase orders (POs) and blanket purchase agreements (BPAs) in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and approval hierarchies. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate supplier data and pricing in ERP systems; following up on deliveries and resolving invoice/payment issues. Additionally, you will support internal customers and operations by providing timely procurement services and addressing urgent needs. This includes identifying and implementing cost-saving and process improvement opportunities. You will maintain multiple ERP systems with accurate terms, contacts, and data. Furthermore, you will evaluate supplier performance, register new suppliers, and assist in onboarding. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain analysis is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Movex, or Mapics preferred) are essential. Intermediate-to-high English proficiency is also required. Bonus points if you have strong negotiation skills, a sense of urgency in resolving issues, and experience working with cross-functional teams and international suppliers. You should also have the ability to work with multiple sites or regions in procurement processes and exposure to continuous improvement initiatives or Six Sigma practices.
