About The Role As Customs Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate import and export customs operations, ensuring compliance with current legislation, proper documentation, and merchandise traceability. This position is onsite and is located in our Manufacturing Plant in Camargo, Chihuahua. Responsibilities Mexican and U.S. customs legislation Management and control of Annex 24 Tariff classification Required Technical Knowledge: Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade (RGCE), LIGIE and their correct interpretation Operation of the IMMEX program (temporary orders, returns, transfers) Customs procedures: preparation of import, export, and virtual customs declarations, transfers, destructions, regularizations, regime changes, among others Qualifications Experience in Conduct effective market research to uncover the most effective source of supply Coordination with customs brokers and transporters Proactivity and focus on compliance Regulatory Key Responsibilities: Oversee customs clearance of goods, ensuring regulatory and documentary compliance Validate that all shipments comply with tax, customs, and regulatory requirements Actively collaborate with the logistics, planning, purchasing, and warehouse departments Report incidents, errors, and potential legal or tax risks Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Customs, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic and customs operations within a maquiladora company Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Supervision of personnel and/or operational processes Organization and monitoring of processes Attention to detail and documentary accuracy Ability to analyze and solve problems under pressure Effective communication, both internally and externally Intermediate English level The future looks brighter than ever.
