Transportation Operations Specialist

Job Title: Transportation Operations Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Specialist who will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure up-to-date shipment information and timely transportation operations. Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to facilitate smooth transportation and logistics operations, as well as resolve various concerns and escalate as needed. Prepare shipping details and documentation, and provide up-to-date shipment information. E nsure timely updates of shipment details and update systems to meet deadlines. Prepare reports and presentations on performance for freight meetings and other reports that management may require. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations. Knowledge of freight transportation regulations, logistics operations, and industry best practices. Experience in freight planning and management. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze pricing data, market trends, and customer requirements. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). TMS and Oracle preferred. Effective English communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication. Possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Transportation, Business, or related field.
