Oversees Mexican Plants Finance functions and is responsible for finance NA procedures. Directly oversees FMS Mexico Locations. MINIMUM POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience; background in manufacturing plant operations; cost accounting experience; some knowledge of materials and processing; knowledge of blueprints; minimum 10 years of budgeting and planning experience, including at least 4-5 years in a financial management position supervising personnel. Familiarity with computer software, operations, and system analysis. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides leadership to the Finance Department. Creates and updates procedures, policies, and documentation related to RG. Defines forms for internal reporting in NAFTA, including standards and details for AP / AR / Cycle Counts / Inventories / Operations / Monthly reports, etc. Standardizes and controls AR to meet objectives set by the Activity Controller. Creates a system for tooling recovery applicable to all FMS NAFTA Plants. Develops NAFTA policies and procedures based on Hutchinson Procedures for accurate reporting of CNQ and CQ. Handles special projects and other assigned duties. Provides leadership to the Finance team. Manages budget and cost accounting functions. Coordinates audits and collaborates with auditors. Supports all finance functions. Analyzes and presents baseline and current costs to teams and senior management. Is responsible for budgeting and strategy processes. Supports operating plants on cost accounting systems and opportunities for improvement. Develops a continuous improvement control plan in taxes, import-export areas. Handles special projects and other duties as assigned. Assists in implementing, documenting, and training on new systems (ONE, XA, E-REQ). Reporting and Interface Reports to the President & CEO. Interfaces with headquarters and operations personnel to support budget development, cost accounting objectives, and general accounting practices.
