Cross-Border Trade Specialist

Job Title: Cross-Border Trade Specialist We are seeking a skilled Cross-Border Trade Specialist to oversee the import and export customs operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Mexican customs regulations, as well as experience with IMMEX and PROSEC processes. Responsibilities: Manage the full process of customs declaration, clearance, tax refund, inspection, and documentation; Apply and implement local customs policies such as IMMEX and PROSEC in Mexico; Optimize clearance procedures to reduce time and cost while mitigating compliance risks; Maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, brokers, and logistics service providers; Lead the customs team, standardize internal procedures, and enhance professional capabilities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields; Minimum of 5 years' experience in import/export and customs management within manufacturing; In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and hands-on experience with IMMEX and PROSEC processes; Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, capable of working in a multilingual environment; Proficient in customs systems with strong cross-departmental coordination and risk management abilities; Proven team management experience and a track record in process optimization.
