Ehs Specialist

We are seeking a professional to drive the development and implementation of programs and procedures that ensure a safe and healthy work environment, while protecting the environment. Key Responsibilities: Identifying Hazards and Risks : Conduct thorough workplace evaluations, risk assessments, and inspections to pinpoint potential hazards related to chemical exposure, noise, equipment, and other environmental factors. Developing and Implementing EHS Programs : Create and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to address identified hazards and ensure compliance with regulations. Incident Investigation : Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the organization complies with all applicable EHS regulations and stay up-to-date on industry best practices. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare reports, and manage databases related to EHS activities. Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote EHS awareness and continuous improvement. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of EHS principles, regulations, and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration. Proficiency in data analysis and report writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to safety and environmental protection. Experience with EHS management systems and software. Bachelor's degree in environmental, health, or safety engineering or a related field.
