As a critical team member, the Inventory Control Manager plays a key role in overseeing the company's stock and shipments. This includes receiving all materials incoming from various sources, storing them in optimal conditions to ensure their integrity, and leading a team to meet strict deadlines for expire dates, ESD, and MSD requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inspect and receive all incoming materials within established goals on our system. 2. Store materials in warehouses, maintaining their best condition. 3. Ensure compliance with ESD, MSD, and expire date requirements at all times. 4. Maintain accurate inventory records to meet Finance department requirements through effective storage practices, housekeeping, and cycle counts. 5. Identify and manage excess and obsolete materials. 6. Develop and implement efficient supermarkets, picking strategies, and material preparation processes, including the creation of KPIs to minimize picking cycle time. 7. Timely pick and deliver kits required by Production. 8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivered kits are in optimal condition, meet integrity standards, and are delivered on time. 9. Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, and Planning to fulfill Sales Orders for customer-requested materials. 10. Direct the Shipping crew to execute the shipment plan as outlined during Business Process Re-engineering (BPR). 11. Lead the Materials team to consistently meet the organization's needs regarding materials management. 12. Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs within Materials. 13. Partner with QA and HR to develop training programs for the Materials crew. 14. Minimize third-party warehouse usage while reducing associated costs. 15. Possess knowledge of Kanban systems and continuous improvement processes. 16. Apply Six Sigma and Toyota Production System (TPS) initiatives to drive cost reduction. 17. Utilize cycle count processes effectively in the Inventory Warehouse. 18. Understand supply material routines to efficiently deliver materials to production lines. 19. Leverage expertise in reducing material-in-process quantities. Requirements: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. APICS certifications are highly desirable. Minimum five years of experience in Supply Chain or Materials management roles.
