Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for refrigeration systems. Job Description: As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will: Develop and support the design and implementation of refrigeration components, ensuring they meet customer and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex design issues. Lead projects from concept to completion, including creating project plans, managing timelines, and communicating results to stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers to develop their design knowledge and skills. Partner with suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in mechanical refrigeration components, implementation, validation, and related applications. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in CAD software, including Solid Edge and Autodesk. Experience with Bill of Material Structures and Engineering Change processes.
