Initiative: We act with sense of urgency when implementing our great ideas.What the position entails: This position will Ensure adequate internal control of all company processes, both administrative and operational, as well as manage costs and analyze variances.Major Responsibilities:• Analytically review cost reduction projects and provide support to the Engineering department• Manage costs effectively• Review the Cost Structure• Analyze cost variances• Suggest improvements to enhance cost efficiency and production processes• Prepare monthly cost reports and closing statements• Accurately assess inventory valuation• Determine production costs• Coordinate and control physical and cycle inventory counts• Report weekly sales figures to Finance for analysis and reconciliationWhat a candidate must have to be qualified for the role:• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field• Advanced (at least 80%) English fluency• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions in the manufacturing industry.• Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)• Strong knowledge of cost management• Advanced knowledge of Excel• Ability to organize a monthly task calendar with deadlines• Ability to analyze information and provide observations and feedback• Commitment to the organization and its members• Ability to work in a team and under pressureAt Brazeway, it’s about more than what we get done – it’s about how we do it.
