Full responsibility in establishing and maintaining procedures and controls for Planning, directing, and coordinating the shipping, receiving, product storage, picking and related inventory control functions of the facility to ensure high inventory accuracy levels as material preservation, and timely picking and release of supplies to the manufacturing areas. The responsibilities also include, process control, process improvement, labor management as integrative collaboration whiting the Planning, procurements, and production areas. The Inventory Analyst will analyze, research, reconcile, and report to Inventory Control management all resolved and unresolved inventory variances outside of accepted tolerances associated with any activities included in the cycle count program for TMM. Facilitate with plant management, line supervision, material handling, engineering, and any other areas that impact inventory accuracy to assist in the correction of the root causes of inventory inaccuracies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plan, direct and coordinate, receiving, product storage, picking and related inventory control functions of the facility to ensure inventory accuracy material preservation, and timely picking and release of supplies to the manufacturing areas. Manage hourly workforce comprised of receiving clerks, material handlers, and cycle counters, warehouse team members. Determine and review work practices for department; streamline and standardize improve efficiencies while meeting Department and Company objectives. Ensure that the daily cycle count and location audits are conducted in a timely manner and approved. Coordination of yearly physical inventories, if necessary, is mandatory; this could include weekend work (typically in December.) Analyze and research the variances outside of the acceptable tolerances defined for the ABC classification of each item. Make determinations on root causes of the errors and perform the correct system transactions to reconcile and resolve variances. Prepare a weekly cycle count and location audit variance report summarizing all of the root cause, resolved variances, and the transactions made to correct. Review all daily inventory error reports, research, reconcile, and report all errors. Assist material handling with cycle counts and location audits when necessary. Assist in the training and development of the cycle counters, dock clerks, and cage clerks. Assist Accounts Payable in the reconciliation of vendor receipt discrepancies. Perform BPAO (Branch Plant Area Organization) audits for production lines and subassembly areas. Coordinate line replenishment process. Kanban, min-Max, and MTO. Coordinate shipping activities for the entire factory. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage hourly workforce comprised of receiving clerks, material handlers, and cycle counters, warehouse team members. Communicate effectively with teams and within management structure to facilitate effective resolution of barriers and problems. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills; self-starter with strong problem solving and data analysis skills. Drive a culture of safety within the warehouse; oversee the team's execution of initiatives and projects supporting the business’ safety goals and objectives. Provide technical knowledge and leadership to inventory control and inventory management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree is a plus. 5 or more years related experience. Strong PC skills with a working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word. MRP soft wares (JDE is a plus). CPIM certification is a plus. Be organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to plan and prioritize. Be thorough and detail oriented. Be objective, open minded, and seek continuous improvement. Have good inter-personal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable working in both a factory and office environment. Understand the value and importance of teamwork.
