The Business Group Manager is accountable for management of complex, critical and large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies an in‑depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses or geographic regions. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level; some external communication may be necessary. The Manager is accountable for the end results of an area, exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning, and primarily affects a sub‑function. Responsibilities Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations, and budget approval. Responsible for the global review, development and implementation of business process improvements. Coordinate efforts for global area integration to achieve operational efficiency objectives. Ensure allocation expenses are correct (calculation and distribution methodology) and control and streamline processes for better comprehensive customer service. Monitor both scheduled and unscheduled reviews to completion. Involved in short‑ to medium‑term planning of actions and resources for own area. Qualifications 10+ years experience in project administration and a background in operational areas. Experience managing limited resources to offer outstanding results. Experience in finance and processes administration. Action‑oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management. Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission‑oriented, and self‑directed. Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management. Strategic and goal‑oriented thinker. Effective interpersonal skills, including teamwork and organizational skills. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication; persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills. Detail oriented, ability to multi‑task. Education Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred. Additional Experience Experience participating in technology projects and technological knowledge. Knowledge and/or aptitude and/or attitude to learn and implement technological solutions for HR. Track multiple projects/processes simultaneously. Experience managing teams. Negotiation and good communication. Tracking projects with Senior Management. Advanced English (speaking, reading, writing).
