Roofing Technical Advisor

The Euclid Chemical Company is a world leading manufacturer of products for the concrete and masonry construction industry. We are currently looking for a Roofing Field Technical Specialist in the Mexico City area. Responsibilities The Roofing Field Technical Specialist will assist the Sales Representative in making sales. This work may include but is not limited to: Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials Inspection and evaluation of the property Preparing roof drawings and sketches Preparing scope of work documents Providing market intelligence regarding building infrastructure, product solutions and competitors Must stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities. You will also need to collaborate with North American Product management and sales teams to ensure client requirements are met. This includes: Assisting in determining regional requirements for codes and approvals Working with NA product management for compliance Providing insights and feedback to internal teams to improve products and services Detailed research, pre‑call planning and strategizing in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators with current and new customers and sales teams, as required Skills and Knowledge Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards Understanding of construction terminology Possess basic understanding of infrared analysis or be willing to complete thermography training and become regional expert Fluent in Spanish and English Must have a VISA Safety training or willingness to go through safety training Ability to climb interior/exterior ladders to access roofs Inspections This work may include but is not limited to: Identifying, analyzing, resolving any problems, and preparing reports to owners, contractors or specifiers regarding the condition of roofs Visits to project sites to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products for the purpose of determining whether the product is installed according to specification and meets Tremco warranty requirements Monitoring progress of the installation Identifying any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications Reviewing and resolving concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco’s installation instructions and coordinating visits with contractors Seniority Level Not Applicable Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
