As part of our team you will manage and lead projects focused on settlement accounting processes and improvements. Responsibilities Manages projects which include analysis, scoping, budgeting, planning, fieldwork, reporting, test scripts creation and issue follow‑up. Implements the redesign and alignment of a single process across all accounting teams. Works on ad‑hoc improvement projects, recommends changes to established methods and implements new processes within the teams to obtain efficiencies. Identifies software requirements and enhancements needed based on strategic and departmental goals. Liaises with procurement team in the business on any purchasing projects. Serves as an escalation point for the project management team, clients, and support teams on project issue identification, escalation and resolution. Provides advice on issue escalation and risk mitigation by evaluating the probability of risk and helping develop quality and risk management plans to minimize negative impact to the settlement accounting processes. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and leadership to seek low‑risk resolutions. Follows up and analyzes the annual mandates of the card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover) and México/Chile domestic rules to submit requirements or change steps in the daily reconciliations.
