Website Job Title L1 Search Evaluator Job Type FTE Role Overview L1 Search Evaluators are the frontline specialists responsible for assessing search quality and investigating user feedback to improve Client’s algorithms and search products. Key Responsibilities Search Quality Assessment: Review and categorize "bad cases" to help search products and algorithms improve. User Feedback Investigation: Analyze user search requirements through data and direct feedback. Optimization & Risk: Provide suggestions for search result improvements and identify potential trust and safety risks. Policy Application: Read and apply 20-page long policies to daily evaluation tasks. Required Qualifications Experience: 1+ years of experience in conducting evaluations or data labeling. Language: High English Proficiency (Reading, Writing, and Speaking). Technical Skills: Proven ability to navigate, troubleshoot, and maximize the utility of internal platforms. Cultural Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pop culture and Internet usage habits. Commitment: Ability to work a 40-hour weekly schedule with a 1-hour turnaround SLA. Preferred Qualifications Experience in search-related or Internet-related business. Background in content moderation or user feedback operations.
