Senior Marketing Automation Specialist

Role To help us handle our increasing workload, we are looking to bring on a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist. Responsibilities - Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a wide variety of clients. - Collaborate with our team of highly skilled email developers and customer success managers to resolve potential issues in email deployments. - Participate in email stand‑ups to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of all tasks. - Work closely with the client team to field requests, answer questions, and collaborate on work‑in‑progress tasks. - Ensure that emails comply with clients' standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN‑Spam laws. - Test email messages to ensure proper formats and templates are utilized using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid. Minimum requirements to be considered - 5+ years of email production and development experience. - Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email. - Proficiency with JSON. - Knows what an API is, how it works, and is proficient in making GET and POST calls. - Understand how a data feed works. - Has an understanding of email code structure and knows how to make code responsive for different devices. - Has strong email etiquette and can communicate with testing, QC, and updates directly with clients. - Can take feedback, clarify it and make adjustments, several times if needed. The ideal candidate - Platform experience with Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift. - Knowledge of Liquid or Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA. - Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma.
