Overview As a Labor Relations Manager, you will ensure a harmonious work environment aligned mainly with Mexican, labor legislation but also with Central America, Brasil and Colombia, while also driving efficiency and strategic relations across the region. You will help promote constructive connections between our company, its employees, and unions, guaranteeing compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting sustainable business growth. This role is based in Mexico City and reports to the HR Business Services Head LATAM. Key Responsibilities Labor Relations Strategy & Compliance Develop and implement labor relations strategies that foster a stable and collaborative workplace. Ensure compliance with the Federal Labor Law, labor reforms, and other applicable regulations across Mexico and the region. Manage audits, contracts, policies, and compliance processes to minimize risks and avoid fines. Maintain relationships with labor authorities and government entities. Union & Employee Relations Lead collective bargaining, profit-sharing negotiations, salary reviews, and union relations. Prevent and resolve labor conflicts through proactive mediation, conciliation, and training programs. Partner with HR and business leaders to provide technical and strategic advice. Operational Efficiency & Workforce Risk Mitigation Seek efficiency in operating costs by addressing overtime, workload distribution, and headcount use. Establish shared indicators (PPG and Union) to increase performance, guide behavior, reduce attrition, and increase engagement. Anticipate and manage the impact of trends such as nearshoring on staff turnover and labor relations in Mexico. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a leadership labor relations role within multinational environments (retail, manufacturing, or distribution preferred). Experience with regional labor frameworks, union negotiations, profit-sharing agreements, labor law reforms, and conflict resolution. Bachelor/'s degree in Law or Administration (Master/'s in Labor Relations/Labor Law preferred). Advanced English proficiency.
