Help Desk and Technical Support Specialist Forvis Mazars is looking for an IT Consultant with experience in business and IT support and consulting to join our rapidly growing IT Managed Services team. The role focuses on managing client interactions from initiation through completion and developing solution approaches to solve our clients’ business challenges. Responsibilities Interaction with clients to resolve user issues and build relationships Follow client service protocols Resolve complex client problems in a professional manner Create and document client interactions for training purposes and knowledge articles Analyze, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions for clients Lead the creation of deliverables, work product, and communications Interface with clients at all levels daily Demonstrate ability to balance quality, deadlines, and client expectations Work with internal and client resources Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate client risks and issues, and work closely with leadership to resolve these issues Propose implementation strategies addressing client operational needs Analyze the current state, identify issues, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, and support the development of creative strategies to help clients achieve business success Facilitate or participate in working sessions with clients to resolve issues Ensure great customer service across work streams and projects Assist with internal initiatives to help our firm grow Qualifications Relevant certifications or equivalent on-the-job experience 5+ years prior experience in customer‑facing help desk or system management roles, or a bachelor’s degree in a computer related field English proficiency Working knowledge in IT infrastructure (Firewalls, Routers, M365, Azure, or AWS) Excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate customer needs Strong analytical thinking skills Strong problem‑solving skills Superior organizational and time‑management skills Knowledge of customer service programs and databases, or the ability to learn new software quickly Ability to translate and align functional and business needs into technical specifications Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences Ability to proactively manage commitments and tasks Experience building effective trusted relationships with clients and colleagues Experience working as part of a client‑focused team Proactively demonstrate commitment to team and firm development Willingness to travel, when applicable Willingness to work on weekends (two days off a week) What we offer An immediate incorporation into a multinational firm, with a consolidated position in the audit, tax and consulting market.
