Combine your career goals and sense of adventure by joining our incredible team of employees at Royal Caribbean Group We are proud to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent career development opportunities each offering unique ways to explore the worldWe are proud to be the vacation-industry leader with global brands — including Royal Caribbean International Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises — the most innovative fleet and private destinations and the best people Together we are dedicated to turning the vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations for our guestsRoyal Caribbean Group’s Private Destinations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager Site Construction reporting to the Director ConstructionThis position will be working onsite from Cozumel/MahahualPosition Summary:Seeking a solid Construction Project Manager to join our team This position will report to the Director or Sr Manager of Construction and will oversee assigned land-based projects This person will oversee the entire construction phases for the assigned land-based projectEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Negotiate and/or support the process of negotiating contracts subcontracts - and purchase orders- Maintain and regularly produce reports utilizing a combination of Project Management Software and Microsoft Office programsEstablish update - and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation- Holds external vendors / contractors responsible for delays and cost overruns from the project scheduleProvides support in contracts subcontracts change orders - and purchase orders negotiations- Holds external vendors / contractors responsible for delays and cost overruns from the project scheduleAttend scheduled weekly progress meetings and other internal project/program meetings and track progress and risks - as necessary- Promote RCI's involvement in the community to help build strategic relationships and to embrace local communitiesFoster and enhance architect contractor subcontractor - and vendor relationsLeads and manages a broad range of activities associated with design pre-construction construction - and closeoutManage budget and financial reporting interpret - and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget- Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programLeads efforts to analyze risk and define schedule related issues - including analysis of long lead materials or equipment which may impact project schedule & forecast variance- Serves as the primary contact for project statusProvide leadership in risk evaluation contract negotiations fee - and pricing decisionsLead change management processes by updating logs routing source documents to vendors obtaining pricing - developing estimates and proposals- Participates in the design and execution of destinations within the Product Development-Private Destinations team- Support a clear short and long-term roadmap and effectively project manage complex timelines and deliverables- Works closely with key stakeholders from the various departments across the organization to understand how to adapt and evolve the strategy for delivering a flawless product at our private destinationsLeads product development process for general regions Private Destinations while working closely with Project Team on concept development - programming and the accurate execution of concepts to ensure innovation and authenticity are maximized- Guarantee product specifications created enable a desirable and viable product for future guests- Creates presentations showcasing construction milestones to share recommendations with senior managementPerforms other duties as required - This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position- Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or managementQualifications- 7-10 years of experience leading construction projects as a commercial Project ManagerExperience with commercial projects (retail restaurant - hospitality)Demonstrate a high standard of persona - accountability and integrity- Mentor staff to the same high standardsBachelor’s degree required;
