Overview Company Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office The Creative Studio team is seeking an experienced and highly organized Manager of Studio Operations to support the successful delivery of multi‑disciplinary creative projects. This strategic role is central to ensuring efficient studio workflows, clear communication, and high‑quality outputs across a fast‑paced, high‑volume creative environment. The Manager of Studio Operations will partner closely with studio leadership, creative team managers, and other studio operations staff to manage project planning strategy, resourcing (including intake and triage), and execution. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and problem solver with a strong background in creative operations, project management, and stakeholder collaboration. The Creative Studio is a dynamic and innovative team that delivers world‑class creative solutions to support Qualcomm’s business objectives. We work closely across the company’s marketing organization and with outside agency partners on projects across a wide range of mediums, including graphic and multimedia design, copy, video, environmental and experiential design, live event visuals and more. This position is based in our growing creative hub in Mexico City, which sits at the center of an evolving and ambitious creative strategy for the company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor/'s degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. Associate/'s degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. Job Summary This role is responsible for project planning and managing the end‑to‑end operational lifecycle of Creative Studio projects, from intake, scoping and planning, through final delivery. Key responsibilities include setting operational strategy, gathering project specifications and requirements, writing clear and actionable creative briefs, managing schedules and resources, and overseeing structured review and approval processes. The Manager of Studio Operations will collaborate closely with studio leadership, creative managers, and operations partners to prioritize work, balance workloads, and ensure projects are appropriately resourced. This role also plays a critical part in driving operational excellence by leading after‑action reviews and developing case studies that capture learnings, highlight best practices, and improve future workflows. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying scopes and deadlines simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Manage intake, triage, and prioritization of cross‑discipline creative projects Gather project specifications, requirements, timelines, and success criteria from stakeholders Write and maintain clear, comprehensive creative briefs that align business objectives with creative execution Partner with studio leadership and creative team managers to plan resources and assign work across teams Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and dependencies Oversee review and approval workflows, ensuring clear feedback, version control, and timely sign‑off Serve as the primary point of contact for operational project communications and status reporting Identify risks, scope changes, and capacity constraints, and proactively recommend solutions Facilitate after‑action reviews to evaluate project outcomes, processes, and team performance Develop internal case studies and reports to share insights, learnings, and best practices Continuously refine studio workflows, tools, and operational standards to improve efficiency and quality Required Skills Experience in creative operations, studio management, or project management within an in‑house studio or agency environment Ability to manage multiple concurrent creative projects with varying scopes and deadlines Strong understanding of multi‑disciplinary creative production workflows Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Studio, with our marketing partners, agencies and stakeholders Advanced communications in English Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels Experience managing creative assets, version control, and documentation Experience developing process documentation, playbooks, or operational frameworks Technical Skills Must be skilled in use of the Windows operating system Strong experience with project management and review tools such as Adobe Workfront (preferred) or similar platforms Familiarity with creative review and approval tools (e.g., Frame.io or comparable systems) Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (operational fluency; hands‑on design not required) Strong experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience in or with the tech industry, particularly in mobile, automotive, XR, compute, and IoT extremely preferred Experience with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Writer or similar tools Experience working with global or geographically distributed teams Familiarity with localization, accessibility, and brand governance workflows Applicants : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
