Overview Job Description Summary We are seeking an energetic, results-driven, experienced Account Manager to lead the relationship at a commercial level with two of our key accounts for our Gas Services business. The Account Manager will partner closely with Contract Performance Managers (CPMs) across sites to develop a true One Team/ITR approach for managing and developing sales opportunities. Job Description Customer facing leadership role, responsible for originating, developing and winning business with the key accounts. This role sells parts, repairs, services and upgrades, and develops Account Management strategies to support customer needs. The role is guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by existing long-term maintenance contracts. It has significant influence over commercial priorities, with moderate autonomy to enter into/execute commercial arrangements and develop strategies. High levels of commercial judgement are required. The position works closely with CPMs to identify site needs and to develop/progress sales opportunities to closure, bridging customer needs with business priorities and objectives. Roles And Responsibilities Responsible for a services sales budget for specific key accounts, including selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects. Develop specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments. Contribute to definition of commercial strategies to identify customer needs and develop sales opportunities. Point of contact for the customer to attend commercial needs, including implementing the ITO process and understanding the customer’s purchasing process. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the process and customer business; understand competition and differentiators in the market. Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Take new perspectives on existing solutions. Use technical experience and data analysis to support recommendations. Utilize multiple internal and limited external sources to arrive at decisions. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus. Develop persuasion skills to influence others in the field. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, business, marketing, or finance related field from an accredited university or college. More than 10 years of experience in sales or execution of power generation, services, or industrial products or projects. Knowledge of the Power Generation industry and its fundamentals. Experience with Services offerings; parts, repairs, upgrades and field services. Fluency in English & Spanish (written & spoken). Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs, projects or initiatives. Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working under limited supervision. Business and financial acumen. Interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a matrix environment, influence, and motivate to achieve a unified goal.
