Data Admin with Cloud Admin

Pay range and compensation package $20-$23/hr Role Title: PowerBI Admin Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote, Mexico (We are seeking candidates based in Mexico to work remotely for our U.S.-based client.)About the Role: This is a role requiring focused expertise in core administration activities and platform governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a stable, secure, and optimized Power BI environment while proactively identifying and addressing performance or capacity issues. The ideal candidate should also be capable of identifying cost-saving opportunities within the platform and recommending appropriate actions to management, ensuring both operational efficiency and financial stewardship. Responsibilities: ~3 - 5 years of experience with Power BI Administration ~ Proficiency in Power BI administration, including managing user access, security settings, and report deployment. ~ Strong data modeling skills to create efficient data structures and optimize report performance. ~ Experience with troubleshooting Power BI issues and understanding ETL processes is essential for maintaining operational efficiency. ~ Scripting experience in PowerShell or other shell scripting languages for automation and bulk actions. ~ Deep understanding of Power BI governance, capacity management, and operational best practices. ~ Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and the ability to diagnose and resolve deployment issues. ~ Familiarity with data integration concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes. ~ Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and its data services.
