Regional Sales Manager The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for the overall field sales of a leading tech client and advocacy in the Professional ("Pro") channel. The RSM will manage a large geographical area consisting of Territory Sales Managers (TSM) and Manufacturer Sales Managers (MSM.) These direct reports will cultivate relationships with HVAC and electrical contractors and distributors to drive sales. The RSM will manage activities through their TSM/MSM team, train them, and actively engage larger contractors, distributors, and Manufacturer Rep companies to promote and advocate the leading tech client product ecosystem. The RSM will partner with their TSM/MSM team to develop a comprehensive approach and sales strategy for their respective territory. Success will be measured on the leading tech client product sales, new contractors signed up for the leading tech program, contractor conversions to the leading tech product line, trainings conducted, and satisfaction scores. Drive sell-out and advocacy on the entire leading tech ecosystem. Lead and develop a team of TSMs/MSMs across a large geographic territory, whose primary role is to visit contractors and distributors in an assigned region, build and maintain trusting relationships, train & engage associates on products and devices, and promote and advocate products and brand to drive sell-through. Establish, foster, and drive strong partnerships with leading tech client, Manufacturing Rep companies, National/Master Distribution, and leadership to enhance and promote brand engagement, identify key growth opportunities, and drive overall sell-through for the region. Inspire and motivate a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve assigned business targets which will include prioritization of store visits during optimal timeframes to maximize impact and meet training objectives. Maintain highly visible presence in designated region within assigned territory by conducting regular field visits within region to ensure excellence and value-add from the TSM's/MSM's contractor engagements and training events. Responsible for budget management of market funds, conducting performance reviews, HR policies, training, hiring process, payroll, and other management responsibilities as required. MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish ~ 10+ Years of Direct HVAC/Elec installer/contractor experience preferred ~5+ Years Supervisory/Management experience with the ability to manage a diverse, remote team in a performance-based culture Strategic thinking capabilities to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations to senior leadership based on field sales team's market intelligence and feedback of current business conditions Analytical and very comfortable navigating data to derive insights and define strategies High level of competency in using Excel and/or Google suite of products. Passion for technology and leading others with such passion. Able to grasp technical aspects of tech products and successfully relay the benefits to the customer Ability to schedule/lead/record virtual training and virtual events with minimal support and have adequate space to accommodate. Proven experience managing and tracking performance against assigned directives and KPIs.
