Their cybersecurity-first approach ensures that businesses are safeguarded against constantly evolving digital threats, providing comprehensive IT solutions to keep operations secure and efficient.SummaryThe Level 1 Automation Specialist will design, build, and maintain automation workflows that streamline MSP operations, reduce manual workloads, and improve service delivery. This role focuses heavily on Microsoft-based automation tools (Power Automate, Graph API, custom integrations) while also providing hands‑on Microsoft 365 administration support (user provisioning, password resets, licensing management). The ideal candidate has foundational Microsoft 365 administration experience, a strong interest in automation, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced MSP environment.ResponsibilitiesBuild and deploy automation workflows using Power Automate, Zapier, Make, and custom APIs to support internal processes and client‑facing operations.Monitor and troubleshoot automation jobs to ensure successful execution and resolve errors promptly.Collaborate with cybersecurity and helpdesk teams to identify repetitive tasks and processes suitable for automation.Integrate automation tools with existing systems, including HaloPSA, Microsoft 365, Azure, and ticketing platforms.Maintain clear documentation for workflows, processes, scripts, and system updates.Conduct routine audits of automation processes to ensure compliance, reliability, and efficiency.Provide first‑level support for automation‑related incidents and escalate complex issues to senior specialists.Microsoft 365 AdministrationProvision and deprovision user accounts in Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).Perform password resets and account unlocks via Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell.Manage Microsoft 365 licensing including license purchases, assignment, and optimization.Configure user mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and email forwarding.Assign and manage app access (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office apps).Support MFA setup and troubleshooting for user accounts.Monitor and respond to Microsoft 365 service health alerts and incidents.Assist with basic Intune device management (device enrollment, policy application).Handle basic SharePoint and Teams administration (site creation, permissions, guest access).QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.1-2 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, junior automation, or Microsoft 365 administration role.Proven hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including: user account creation, modification, and deletion;
