Product Legal Counsel (remote, LATAM Market) TripleTen is seeking a talented Product Legal Counsel to join our Legal department to support our EdTech B2B/B2C product teams (Educational and AI products). If you are an experienced lawyer 3-5 PQE with a passion for technology, education and AI-driven innovations, this is your opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, high-impact environment where you’ll shape the legal framework of our expanding product ecosystem.In the Role This role will advise on product design, go‑to‑market, and operations for consumer and B2B offerings, while proactively managing legal risk across consumer protection and advertising. The ideal candidate also brings hands‑on experience managing and resolving disputes, consumer complaints, and regulatory proceedings in countries of the LATAM region with the primary focus on Mexico.What you will do:Draft and negotiate the Terms of Use and Service Terms for B2C products;Draft and negotiate a variety of templates for B2B products worldwide, including vendor agreements, service contracts, partnerships, licensing, and SaaS agreements for educational tools and platforms;Advise on and monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the education sector and AI regulation; proactively update internal stakeholders;Develop internal playbooks, trackers, standard AI contract clauses, and training materials to ensure operational compliance;Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, privacy, engineering, compliance) and external counsel to facilitate efficient product launches;Provide comprehensive legal guidelines and lead administrative proceedings before PROFECO, INAI, COFECE, and sectoral regulators, including settlement strategy and appeals; lead strategy with outside counsel if matters escalate to litigation;Deliver legal analysis and strategic advice on complex commercial legal issues, helping the organization navigate evolving legal landscapes;Drive innovation in legal operations through guidelines, templates, and AI‑assisted solutions.Requirements:Law Degree from an accredited law school or LL.M., actively admitted to practice law (U.S. admission is a bonus);3+ years of post‑graduate experience, ideally combining law firm and in‑house roles, preferably within education, IT or related sectors;Strong understanding of Mexican EdTech regulations (prior experience in EdTech is a bonus) and Mexican Consumer Protection Laws and Regulations (understanding of Colombian and/or Brazilian regulation is a bonus);Strong knowledge of international regulatory frameworks in AI;Exceptional skills in drafting and negotiating B2B contracts;Proven experience with B2B contracts and legal support for educational and AI products;Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and business advisory skills;Multinational experience or interest in cross‑border product launches;Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a bonus), comfortable drafting customer‑facing product policies in both languages, and can translate complex legal requirements into actionable product guidance;Ability to travel internationally as needed by the business.What we can offer you:Remote position with employment contract through Deel, Ontop, or similar provider.Experience in a high growth EdTech company with reach into the USA, LATAM, Brazil, and Europe.A comfortable digital office.
