Employment Type:Direct Contractor (Indefinite)Location:Fully Remote (Mexico)Compensation:$2,000 – $3,000 USD/month (based on experience)Start Date:ASAPAbout the role On behalf of our client, a entrepreneurial commercial real estate investment firm, we are seeking aCommercial Real Estate Acquisitions Associate Analystto support (and help drive) deal execution fromsourcing through closing.This role sits close to leadership and requires someone who can keep up with a fast pace, stay extremely organized, and take ownership without needing heavy direction.Who you are You’re a hands‑on commercial acquisitions/underwriting professional who enjoys digging into deals, building models, and turning messy inputs into clear investment recommendations.You’re driven, calm under pressure, and not easily overwhelmed. You can communicate simply and directly in English with your peers and clients, and you can “tell the story” behind the numbers in a way that’s client‑facing and decision‑ready.This role also offers strong growth potential for high performers, with increasing ownership across deal sourcing, underwriting, and end‑to‑end execution as the team scales.ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate new investment opportunities (primarily retail and industrial, with exposure to other commercial asset types)Build and/or improve underwriting models in Excel, including complex cash flow and waterfall analysesConduct market research (rents, comps, fundamentals) and support underwriting assumptionsSupport due diligence: gather, organize, and review deal materials; coordinate timelines and next stepsPrepare investment write‑ups / approval packages and present deal conclusions clearlyHelp build and manage the acquisitions funnel, including lead generation processes (AI, VAs, outreach, campaigns)Coordinate handoff to asset management post‑closing as neededCreate internal SOPs/frameworks and support process improvement as the team scalesRequirementsBachelor’s or higher degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics3+ years of experience in US private equity real estate underwriting and processing commercial real estate transactions or comparable direct transaction experienceHighly proficient with Excel, including the ability to create complex financials models and waterfall analyses.Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market research and financial forecasting. Substantial experience analyzing investments and exerting sound judgementStrong attention to detail with high personal organization (you manage timelines accurately)Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)Self‑directed and independent, highly personable and motivatedNice to HaveExperience with retail shopping centers and/or industrial warehousesExperience sourcing deals and running outbound funnels (brokers, owners, campaigns)Experience preparing investment committee materials and fundraising/approval packages.
