Job Description Become one of the authors of our story. Join our team as Area Sales Manager, West and Central, based in Mexico at Susurros del Corazón in Punta de Mita and Etéreo in Riviera Maya. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure business in line with the collection’s strategic plan to maximize room revenue during peak and non-peak periods. The role reports directly to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the revenue team to ensure the leisure sales strategy aligns with the properties' business needs. This position currently represents two Auberge Resorts in Latin America. It is home-based, with a preference for candidates residing in Texas or California. Oversee account management and achieve sales goals in the assigned region. Support the collection's revenue goals by generating leisure business at each hotel. Organize and schedule direct sales activities via phone, email, and in-person meetings, averaging about five prospecting efforts per day. Participate in weekly Revenue Management calls, scheduled conference calls with the Area Director of Sales, and property-specific calls as needed. Maintain and build an accurate regional sales database of clients. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Qualifications Required Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of three years of sales experience in a luxury hotel sales environment. Proven track record of driving sales revenue in a hotel setting. Desirable Experience selling multiple properties or brands. Experience working in international hotels or resorts. Experience working remotely in a sales office setting. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Experience working with professional organizations supporting leisure travel.
