Senior Database Architect

Job Title: Database Systems Administrator Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Database Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of database systems. This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. You will also have the chance to work with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and Couchbase. In this role, you will be responsible for patching RDBMS, GRID, and Client homes. Experience with patching on ExaCC is preferred. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c internals and ASM. You will also be responsible for creating storage database structures with high-level security features and setting up/managing database user accounts. Extensive experience in backup and recovery scenarios is essential. Furthermore, you will need to regularly update the database security protocols and have knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and multitenant database. Experience with database monitoring and management tools such as Oracle EM Cloud Control is highly desired. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing Disaster Recovery sites and performing DR exercises using Oracle Dataguard. Knowledge of Goldengate and Exadata/ExaCC is preferred. Lastly, you will need to have automation skills using PL/SQL and scripting tools such as shell script. Knowledge of scripting is a valuable asset.
