Position Snapshot As a Trade Analyst within Livingston International’s Global Trade Management team, you will play a key role in supporting the Canadian Import Referrals process, ensuring trade compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in documentation and communications. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to meet service-level expectations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Location: Cuautitlán Izcalli or surrounding areas, State of Mexico (Hybrid – 3 days in-office) Why Livingston? A Day in the Life Manage the Canadian Import Referrals mailbox, reviewing incoming documentation and inquiries. Verify accuracy and completeness of shipping documents (e.g., bill of lading vs. commercial invoice). Collect, organize, and upload necessary documents to facilitate timely shipment release. Collaborate with the Classification Team , Escalation Team , and Customs Brokers to resolve gaps in documentation or tariff classification. Assign correct tariff classifications, including TIGIE fractions , and support reclassification reviews as needed. Record transaction errors or delays in the IRQ system . Track and trace shipments, troubleshooting issues when required. Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external inquiries. Ensure adherence to client instructions, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance protocols. Support process improvements and contribute to trade compliance excellence. What You Bring to the Table Education : Technical degree or diploma in International Trade , International Business , Customs Sciences , or a related field. Experience : Minimum 2 years in trade compliance, customs, or logistics roles. English : Intermediate to advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication. Skills : Strong attention to detail when reviewing trade documents. Ability to manage multiple systems, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently in a hybrid model and collaborating with cross-functional, remote teams.
