Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead operations at our Cuautitlán facility. This leadership role is accountable for driving performance in production, quality, safety, maintenance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction. The Plant Manager will guide strategic planning, continuous improvement, and ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and corporate standards. . Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate all production, quality, and operational activities at the Cuautitlán facility to support the growth, profitability, and long-term success of FXI. Establish and clearly communicate performance goals and operational objectives across all departments. Ensure full regulatory compliance with all applicable Mexican labor, safety, and environmental laws. Provide effective personnel leadership to promote a positive and productive work environment, strong employee relations, and team accountability. Manage the Plant Capital Expenditures budget to ensure resources are available for equipment maintenance, upgrades, and future expansion. Manage relationships and execution related to both automotive and non-automotive customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and promoting business growth. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet FXI environmental goals and local legal standards. Collaborate with key corporate stakeholders to align plant operations with overall company strategy, sales performance, manufacturing quality goals Make daily decisions on the overall operation and direction of the Cuautitlán plant, including production flow, personnel adjustments, quality interventions, and cost optimization. Lead strategic planning, resource allocation, and plant-level pricing decisions. Ensure early identification and resolution of quality issues, including halting production when necessary to protect customer and product integrity. Maintain awareness of the environmental aspects and impacts of operations; drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce environmental risk. Ensure all personnel are informed and trained on updates to the Quality Management System (QMS) and that system integrity is maintained. Actively support and participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for quality or compliance concerns. Education and/or Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field is required. 10 or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with demonstrated expertise across operations, sales, engineering, and financial management. Proven track record in plant leadership with direct responsibility for production, quality, safety, maintenance, and team performance. Experience managing a medium to large-scale manufacturing site, ideally within the polyurethane, foam, automotive, or consumer goods industries. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, driving operational excellence, and executing cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives. Experience in customer relationship management, including both automotive OEM and non-automotive segments. Experience with capital projects, plant budgeting, and strategic planning. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is highly preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
