Factory Operations Director

The Position We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Plant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading operations at our Cuautitlán facility. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all production, quality, and operational activities to support business growth, profitability, and long-term success. Establish performance goals and objectives across departments, ensuring alignment with company strategy. Maintain full regulatory compliance with applicable laws and standards. Provide effective personnel leadership to promote a positive work environment, strong employee relations, and team accountability. Manage plant-level budgeting and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of resources. Foster strong relationships with customers, promoting satisfaction and business growth. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet environmental goals and local legal standards. Collaborate with corporate stakeholders to align plant operations with overall company strategy, sales performance, and manufacturing quality goals. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. At least 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with expertise in operations, sales, engineering, and financial management. Demonstrated track record in plant leadership with direct responsibility for production, quality, safety, maintenance, and team performance. Experience managing a medium to large-scale manufacturing site, preferably in the polyurethane, foam, automotive, or consumer goods industries. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and execute cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives. Experience in customer relationship management, including both automotive OEM and non-automotive segments. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is highly preferred.
