SAP Consultant – MM/WM This role is essential in bridging IT and business to define and execute the SAP strategic roadmap for a global manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of business insight and SAP expertise—particularly in Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM)—to support digital transformation, improve application adoption, and deliver measurable business value. This Mexico-based position involves leading new SAP module implementations in manufacturing plants, optimizing existing systems, and integrating SAP data with platforms. The role also requires mentoring functional experts and collaborating on global initiatives. Key Responsibilities Partner with corporate leadership to define and execute long-term SAP strategies leveraging emerging technologies. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with value creation priorities. Lead SAP projects in coordination with business teams, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget. Drive digitization efforts including supplier EDI (B2B), analytics, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Adhere to SAP change management protocols and governance frameworks. Collaborate with IT teams across regional hubs and Centers of Excellence. Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on SAP MM/WM experience, including configuration and support in S/4HANA. Strong background in manufacturing industry processes and SAP consulting. Deep functional knowledge in: Master Data: Material Master, PIR, BOMs, Quota Arrangement, Source List, Pricing MRP & Procurement: Strategy definition, integration with SD and procurement Procure-to-Pay: PR, PO, Release Strategies, Scheduling Agreements Inventory Management: GR/GI, material movements, cycle counting, physical inventory Quality Management: Vendor quality, incoming inspection Strong cross-functional integration with CO, FI, PP, SD, and PM modules. Familiarity with SAP technical elements such as standard tables, BAPIs, 3rd-party interfaces, and custom enhancements. Experience developing authorization objects and managing transport requests. Skilled in conducting workshops, gathering requirements, designing process flows, and supporting data migration and validation. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
