Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) . REMOTE FROM MEXICO ONLY!!!! The ideal candidate will play a critical role in deploying and operationalizing advanced machine learning models, integrating GPT-based services, and managing infrastructure across environments. This role requires expertise in Python, AWS services, and MLOps , with a focus on model deployment, observability, and performance optimization . Technical Requirements Must-Have Skills Python (proficient) AWS Lambda Functions AWS API Gateway Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools Experience deploying models for inference across environments Strong understanding of security best practices Cloud & Infrastructure AWS Infrastructure (general expertise) Terraform (IaC) AWS SageMaker (model training and deployment) AWS OpenSearch (Vector Databases) Observability tools: Dynatrace , Splunk Basic understanding of cybersecurity (firewalls, certificates) AI & ML Platform Experience with GPT APIs (costs, tokens, usage, contracts) OpenAI API integrations (connectivity and implementation) Large Language Models (LLMs) understanding Databricks (including job clusters, interactive clusters) Unity Catalog (data governance and access management) MLflow (for model lifecycle tracking) Daily Responsibilities Deploy ML models across dev, staging, and production environments Make ML models available for real-time inference Develop and deploy API-based ML services , including home-grown and GPT-backed models Review and validate Data Science code before deployment Implement and enforce security best practices Monitor performance, model cost , availability , and drift Manage and renew API keys , certificates, and credentials Provide reports on model usage, API cost, and drift analysis Ensure systems are functional and available during off-hours (USA time zone) Soft Skills & Communication Strong verbal and written communication with Data Scientists and Product Leaders Proactive and collaborative across cross-functional teams Ability to manage urgent priorities and operate with a sense of urgency Comfortable providing insights and updates to stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
