Floater teacher

Position Objective: The Floater Teacher provides classroom coverage in the absence of the lead teacher and supports the coordination team with various academic and organizational tasks when not covering classes. The role ensures continuity of learning and student well-being by maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWhen covering a class:Review and prepare the lesson materials and content to be taught.Deliver classwork and homework assignments according to the curriculum.Maintain an optimal learning environment in the classroom.Manage classroom behavior and apply disciplinary measures in line with the Student Handbook.Supervise students during activities inside and outside the classroom.Grade classwork and assignments.Report daily activities and student progress to the corresponding coordinator.Prepare lesson plans and attend weekly meetings in the case of long-term substitutions. When not covering a class:Assist the coordination team with tasks related to the section.Support new students in their adaptation process.Collaborate in the preparation of didactic materials.Participate in the supervision of school activities and presentations within and outside school hours.Fulfill requirements and tasks assigned by the Academic Coordination. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Education or related field (preferred).Prior teaching or classroom management experience.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to adapt to different grade levels and subject areas.Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive.
